iRescueRadio 013: Of Roses, Romance, Legionnaires, Vaccines and Autism

This is another episode that you won’t want to miss.  We talk about buying Roses for Valentine’s Day, with a story about Dan’s first date.  It’s a lot of laughs as we then move the topic of conversation toward a chemical effect on Romance.

We then delve into Legionnaires’ Disease and Pontiac Fever for a bit.

We end the episode talking about a Court ruling that a vaccine is not to blame for autism.  This is a huge ruling with the many families that have been effected by this possible connection.  I had seen an episode of the television show Eli Stone that deals with that issue.  As it turns out, that episode caused a controversy in the medical field, as it was thought that people would be lead to believe that vaccines will lead to autism.

The episode of Eli Stone is not discussed here, but the link and the court decision are discussed at length.

Lastly, we delve into Medical Mysteries.  We talk about what happens when you keep your eyes open when you sneeze.  How about your funny bone?  Why is it called that and what is it really?  Are yawns really that contagious and why?  And what about laughter… is that contagious as well?  We found the answers.  Hear us talk about that in this episode!  And don’t let the bed bugs bite.
